Group Forming: Professional, Unemployed Gays & Lesbians (Ages 35+)

PUGL - Professional Unemployed Gays & Lesbians is a new social group forming in the City.

The 5 Stages of 'Severance'

Shock
Even if you have been preparing yourself mentally for months, actually getting hit with the bad news will sting like a mother. As you are guided through the HR process of finding out your individual severance package and putting your picture frames into a box, your mind shuts down while your body goes into autopilot to prevent a security guard from having to escort you out of the building.… Continue

Jonathan Fields Seminar

I have mentioned this guy a bunch already on this blog, but last night I went to hear him speak in NYC. It was held in a classroom at the YMCA on 92nd St. The setting was less than ideal, as it looked like it was used as a day care room during the day, and the to say interesting crowd would be an understatement. That aside, I thought it was a very helpful lecture. Mostly, he spoke about how to get out mainstream employment and how to make money following your dreams. I have read up on a lot of t… Continue
